DaBaby Sort of Tries to Apologize for Homophobic Comments
Over the weekend, DaBaby made some horrifyingly homophobic comments onstage at Rolling Loud in Miami. Since then, he's been trying to explain himself, but he keeps making things worse, and his new apology has again missed the mark.

The rapper first came under fire for comments he made during his performance. "If you didn't show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that'll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up," he said. "Fellas, if you ain't sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up!"

When DaBaby defended himself in a subsequent Instagram post, he made things even worse by saying, "[My gay fans] don't got AIDS. My gay fans, they take care of themselves. They ain't no nasty gay n***as. See what I'm saying? They ain't no junkies in the street."

For his latest explanation, DaBaby sort of tried to apologize. He tweeted that what he said was "insensitive" and wrote "my apologies," before telling the LGBTQ community that "y'all business is y'all business."Β He wrapped up his non-apology by saying "you can't make me feel less of myself" and promoting his upcoming shows.
